American Eagle Outfitters

Last night while I was preparing dinner I realized I missed a call. It was the manager from American Eagle Outfitters. She left me a voicemail and asked me to call her back and for a minute I wondered if my interview that I had with her last week went as well as I thought it did. I called back and an employee answered asking if I would be available for orientation in two weeks. I replied "Yes, absolutely! ...Does this mean I got the job?". Apparently she thought the manager already spoke with me. It was funny! So, yes I did get the job and my new adventure will begin very soon!

I've never bought anything from AEO before. I've browsed their store a few times and my husband has two shirts from them but since they were gifts it doesn't really count. Before my interview I took the time to look through their website and was excited to see some current fashion trends amongst their products. I always thought of them as only carrying basic clothing and beach-like attire, but I was wrong! If you thought the same thing than these few items might just convince you otherwise.

Below are the items listed from left to right:

Row 1
1) Ombre Floppy Beach Hat - $19.50
2) Printed Sundress - $39.95
3) Slouchy Cardigan - $34.95

Row 2
4) Strappy Wedge Sandal - $49.50
5) Tumbled Cross-Body Bag - $24.50
6) Cateye Sunglasses - $15.50

I really love the colors of the floppy hat and according to one review the photo doesn't do it justice. That may be a sign that I need to try it on! I also really like the shoes they have and was surprised to find cateye sunnies! Besides these things I've listed you'll also find scarves, belts, jewelry, skirts and men's clothing!

Do you shop at AEO? If not, might you be interested now?
