NYFW: Casee's Favorites

Fashion Week is almost over for New York City and it's been a spectacular time so far. I've already posted about Vivienne Tam, and of course Jen and I posted our favorites from the Christia Siriano show as well. Here are some samples from a few other shows I've been smitten with!

ADAM
I loved Adam Lippes's fall collection so I was quite eagerly anticipating his spring show. I wasn't disappointed! I love the tones and fabrics in each piece. Those high-waisted red pants are perhaps my favorite thing that I've seen from anyone all week! Those are at the top of my Fashion Week wish list!

Barbara Tfank
This collection has such a fabulous vintage feel. I love the cuts and the necklines of the dresses. It looks like the Mad Men-inspired trend will head right on into spring, doesn't it? Fun!

Carlos Miele
Another collection with a fab pair of red pants. I love that trend. I also loved Carlos's gowns. They all looked so decadent. And the super cute butterfly tunic has so many possibilities! I started styling it with skinny jeans in my head the minute I saw it.

Chris Benz
One of my favorite collections, full of floral prints and neutral tones. I love how the entire thing seems to really flow together. It looks like a muted, bohemian rainbow.

Cynthia Rowley
I'm a huge Cynthia Rowley fan so I was very excited to see this collection. The circular cut-outs aren't my favorite thing in the world, but I loved her color palette and the textures she used. Everything looks so light and comfortable, but chic at the same time.

DKNY
I absolutely loved this collection! Donna Karan is so down-to-earth in her designs, while still maintaining a level of excitement. I kept thinking, "I could wear that" which was refreshing. Sometimes you see things on the runway and think, "Oh, only a model could pull that off". Not with Donna Karan. She knows what's real. The red look is second on my Fashion Week wish list. Isn't it so cute? I also loved her use of scarves, too.

Monique Lhuillier
I can't deny a pretty gown when I see one, but the Monique Lhuillier collection had several! I was fascinated by that last one especially, the pattern really looked like roses!

What are your thoughts on these collections? Any favorites? Have you found any must-have pieces for spring so far on this Fashion Week? I'd love to know!
