April was such a blur. I especially can't believe how fast Easter came and went! That day was definitely the highlight of my month because it was the first time Jason's family and mine all got together to celebrate a holiday. It was so nice having everyone in one place. Of course, I also had some material things that I really enjoyed and want to share with you!
It was about that time to redeem my Kohl's cash (I seriously love whenever I get those $10 coupons!). There was a big sale on the Simply Vera Wang Spa Renew collection and so I picked up one of the body butters. It is the most luxurious body butter I have ever used and the container is like something from a dream. It contains shea and mango butter, argan oil and fig. It was originally $19.50 but I got it for $7.80 and had a 20% off coupon. Score!
Jason and I really liked the first Despicable Me and we both have been wanting to rent the sequel ever since it was released. I received a coupon code from Redbox over the weekend and we decided to finally rent it! It's not very often that sequels are actually good but we both liked it a lot. It's just as funny as the first one and the minions are simply delightful. But that's a given ;)
Bath and Body Works is the home of my go-to hand soap. Most of the time I go for the foaming hand soap. It's definitely the softest and easiest to use and I love that they are always adding new scents, though sometimes I like sticking with my old favorites. I've been liking
Caribbean Escape in
our bathroom for a while now but I chose a new scent,
Apple Mango, for the kitchen. I'm not a huge fan of mango but together they smell really good!
I use my
Maybelline Baby Lips pretty often but I seemed to use them both even more this month. Not all the Baby lips are this pigmented. In fact, some of them have no color whatsoever. As you can see Pink Punch (left) and Pink Shock (right) are obviously beautiful. If you haven't tried these yet, you're missing out!
