Jenmarie's Mini Bathroom Tour

I really love how our bathroom has come together and though I still have some ideas I'd like to incorporate (because I am a perfectionist, I feel like I am never done with any room in our home) I wanted to share some shots with you. Please note: This is not a full bathroom tour but I hope this will give you an idea of the overall serene beach theme that I've attempted. Do let me know what you think in the comments below!
When we first moved into our cozy apartment our bathroom was multicolored with muted neutrals of browns, tans, blues and greens. After a few years I grew tired of it (not to mention I had splattered red nail polish all over the curtain and ruined it) and decided to change it up a bit after I discovered the Simply Shabby Chic collection at Target. I did save the other pieces from the previous theme in our bathroom for an extra bathroom we may have one day but the curtain sadly got trashed (and yes, I tried several methods of getting the nail polish out!).
Our bathroom now features white and silver/glass pieces mixed with a little bamboo...

We have lots of counter space but I like to keep it open and free of clutter. On one end we have the sink where soap and a few other products are kept and the other end is this beautiful goodness. I am

The light brown hand towels are Sonoma Life + Style from Kohl's and are super soft. The white accent towels with the lace detail are from the Simply Shabby Chic collection from Target. Question for you: When you see towels displayed like this, do you feel like you can't use them? Would you feel better if there was something else available to use nearby?

The curtain is also from the Simply Shabby Chic collection and has lace detailing on the top and bottom. The bamboo hooks are from Kohl's. Though they are cute, they don't always stay on the bar when pulling the curtain back to get into the shower. I eventually want to find some circular ones so they will stay locked in place!

We are fortunate to have a lot of storage space in the bathroom. In the drawers I have these plastic dividers by Real Simple from Bed Bath and Beyond that are completely life changing! Yes, life changing. I also use these in other drawers throughout our place to keep things organized and neat. This is a set of 3 I usually get for around $4 or so. I was only able to find this set online, but they do have others in the store. You can find them where they have the bedroom organization products. The first section to the left holds mostly all my night-time routine products. The second one holds random stuff like current favorite nail polishes, my ring cleaner, deodorant, etc. The right section contains all my smaller hair accessories and products.

These glass containers are smaller candle jars from Bath & Body Works that have also been recycled. I store my bobby pins and hair ties in them but you can use them for anything! They are too cute to trash!

This is currently the only thing that is hanging on our bathroom wall. But it's very special and sits above where our bath towels hang. Jason had this made for me when we were still dating and gave it to me on one of our anniversaries. It suits the bathroom perfectly!

The glass soap dispenser and q-tip holder are both from Target, though I don't remember the brand. And yes, that is Christmas soap from Bath & Body Works. I just love the Vanilla Bean Noel scent and can't get myself to put it away!

Our bamboo hamper was a Bridal Shower gift from my parents and the scale is new from Kohls.

A peek into my make-up storage. Because everyone likes to see that, right? Luckily everything fits in this Caboodles case I picked up from Target earlier this year. The top left carries most of my lip products, the bottom left holds some eye shadow pencils, eyeliners, blush, bronzer, chapsticks etc. The top right holds my mascaras. I'm a mascara junkie, as you can see. The bottom left has random bits that may get messy so mostly lip glosses, concealers, sharpeners, etc. The center part has larger things like my Urban Decay and Tarte palette and lots of other eyeshadow, my eyelash curler, etc. There's tons more you can't see under those palettes.
I hope you enjoyed this mini tour of our bathroom! Do you have a theme in your bathroom? What's your favorite part about it?
