While taking these photos I couldn't help but notice how fast the sun was setting. One minute it was shining brightly on my face and then it began to fall within a blink of an eye. It made me think about how quickly time goes by and if I'm living my life to the fullest. It's good to be reminded of these things, so that we can be encouraged to live each day as if it's our last in doing the things we love and treating others with love. On a not-so-serious note, life is also too short to be wearing boring shoes (or in my case, shoes that are literally breaking). I have several pairs of shoes in my closet that either are deteriorating or are about to and it's just awful. It's always been a challenge for me to find shoes that are comfortable and so each pair that I have is worn until they can be worn no more, even to the point where I'm like "Ok, this is ridiculous.", but I really don't have a choice because it's that hard to find a pair to replace them. But last week at Nordstrom I found these hand-crafted leather wedges by Born and they were so comfortable, they came home with me. After wearing them to work a couple of times my feet were achy, and my pinky toes were wanting to blister but for me I think that was part of breaking them in. When I purchased my Franco Sarto Leather Sandals (also from Nordstrom) last August I had to wear band aids on my feet for maybe around two months before they were completely broken in. Now they're absolutely great! I am hoping that is the case with these wedges. I think my feet need to get used to them and the leather needs a little bit of stretching. How about wishing this lady and her new shoesies luck, eh?

I've had this American Eagle cardigan for several months but realized it never made it's way into an outfit post. I wear it all the time! The cuffed sleeves allow me to wear bracelets and things without having to roll them up, which is perfect. And that gorgeous infinity crocheted scarf by Harvester Products is new. Aren't the colors fantastic? I'm obsessed with the bit of mint green. If you're interested, you can buy the pattern for super cheap here.
