New looks with the old

Cardigan: Thrifted (Grace Elements)

Slingbacks: Payless

As much as I like to do outfit posts wearing mostly new things I'm also not ashamed to post outfits where I'm wearing things you've seen a handful of times. The fact of the matter is, most of us like to wear pieces from our closet more than once. Am I right? If you love something I would say it deserves to be loved! Sure it would be nice to almost always wear an entire new outfit in each outfit post but I try to be positive and work with what I have and what I'm able to purchase. Accessories are always great items to invest in because they are the pieces that create new looks with the old!

You've seen most of this outfit before except for the cowl, tote bag and maybe the thrifted cardigan. The cowl is perfect and light enough to wear during the Spring. The yarn it's made of is very soft so you'll be itch-free! If you're interested in purchasing one for yourself or perhaps a friend you can find them here at Harvester Products. The tote bag I got back in December during Forever 21's Buy 1 Get 1 from any of their sale items. I love this tote because it has a pocket inside and a zipper pocket on the outside. Most of the tote bags I've seen are plain and simple and don't have any pockets! The thrifted cardigan is a little big but I like it because it makes it extra cozy! It was one of my favorite cardigans during the colder weather. It wasn't too cold out yesterday but it was rather windy so I decided to grab it on the way out.

Do you wear your favorite pieces often enough? Why or why not?
