White as Snow

Over the weekend Jason and I were up in Big Bear for Winter Camp with 10 of the kids from our youth group. It was so nice to get away from everything and to be surrounded by the beauty of the snow, trees and gorgeous mountains. We had an incredible time with the kids engaging in different activities, being silly, but most of all encountering God. I won't ever forget the incredible worship experience we had and the times that we cried and prayed for each other. God is good!
As I looked through the photos I took I was thinking about the color "white" (gee, I wonder why?) and how pure and lovely it is. I really like the color because it makes anyone who has fair skin look a shade darker than they really are! Many people believe that one of the fashion rules about white is that you can't wear it after Labor Day. I've always thought that was silly and so does Rachel Zoe! If that doesn't convince you than nothing will! Here are a few pieces that I found and loved. Maybe they'll be of some inspiration to you...

Heaven on Earth One Shoulder Top - Threadsence - $29.00

Softwalker Oversized White Top - LuLu's - $30.00

BB Dakota Janine White Skirt - LuLu's - $77.00

Lunar Cycles Top - Anthropologie - $88.00
So, what do you think? Do you plan to put the well-known fashion rule concerning the color "white" behind you? Let us know what you think!
