Fashion Finds: Flirty Florals
The floral trend can be a bit intimidating if you're someone like me who hasn't done much experimenting with colors and patterns in the past. And yet, even though it's so far beyond the "norm" for me I'm still really loving the look of florals for spring. I think it's because there's so much diversity with them; large prints can create a more abstract look while smaller prints give you that sort of vintage, seventies vibe. It's a cool trend because not everyone will necessarily wear it the same way. I'm personally excited to see how it appeals to people this season. In the meantime (and I say "meantime" because we still have a tiny bit of snow here - seriously) I found a few examples of florals to share. Mostly I stuck with the tiny print; I love the little bohemian flair to it!

Cream Textured Cotton Floral Skirt; £35, Topshop

Rose Floral Envelope Clutch; £10.50, Dorothy Perkins

Black Floral Bow Short; £28, Miss Selfridge

Multi Floral Belted Dress; £30, Dorothy Perkins

River Island Tapestry Satchel; $66.34, ASOS
The Multi Floral Belted Dress from Dorothy Perkins is one of my favorite for the really original print, the great colors (I love heavy, earthy tones like that) and the retro shape. It has so much character!
