Friday Fame: Amy Adams

"I love nachos, burritos, enchiladas – I like it all. But I go for the chips, salsa and guacamole, so I’m usually so full by the time the food comes that I have three bites. It’s a bit of an issue.”

As I was a reading through a myriad of quotes from and about Amy Adams I gained a better understanding of her personality. I found that she is completely genuine, honest and has a great sense of humor! The above quote made me laugh and think of myself. A lot of times when I sit down at a restaurant I can't stop eating the appetizer and since I get full real fast I have to remind myself that my actual meal hasn't come yet. It's a little confusing sometimes when they bring you appetizers that could very well be your main dish!

I first saw Amy Adams in Disney's Enchanted. Not only did I thoroughly enjoy the film, but I also fell in love with how she portrayed the perfect classic Disney princess. The sweet innocence, and bubbly nature of her character was astounding and so realistic! I think her experience in singing and dancing growing up really shows, as all her perfromances in the film are top-notch! If you love Disney and have yet to see this film, I would definitely suggest it!

I also really enjoyed Julie & Julia a film that focuses on both Julie and Julia's different struggles and outcomes in life. Amy's character (Julie) challenges herself to make all 524 recipes from Julia Child's (Meryl Streep) cook book every day for a year! This movie is really fun and delightful to watch. Both Amy and Meryl Streep give excellent performances! Might I also add that this was the movie that inspired me to start SHE? You'll hear a little more about that in a month or so...

Amy is a wonderful actress and she takes gorgeous photos too! I especially loved this scan I found of her wearing a beautiful Marchesa gown from the California Style Issue in Jan/Feb 2009. She looks extremely high fashion and I really like how the colors match the intensity of her eyes and hair.

Do you like Amy? Which movies have you seen her in?
