Fashion Finds: Holiday Dresses
The holidays are upon us and that means we gals get to dress up for all manner of gatherings and parties! In the spirit of the season - and because I just love looking at fancy dresses - I picked out a few festive frocks to share with you all, along with some ideas on accessories you might pair them with. Take a look!

The dress: Jessica Howard Embellished Peached Dress ($100, Kohl's)
Wear it with:
Sterling Silver Tag Heart Bracelet ($59.99, JCPenny)
Qupid Neutral 10 Black Fabric Bow Toe High Heels ($30, LuLus.com)
The very classic LBD with an Audrey Hepburn flair. I love the embellishments on this dress as well as the detailing at the waist. I always appreciate detailing at the waist - instant figure flattery! The length and the volume on the skirt add a lot of character. Given the embellishments at the neckline, I think the dress would work well without a necklace; just a sweet bracelet and some structured pumps and you're set! (I didn't get into the details with my accessorizing, but I do always love tights or stockings with dresses. I think they do so much to complete the look and make it overall a bit more sophisticated.)

The dress: Rise Navy Sparkle Dress (£40, Dorothy Perkins)
Wear it with:
Mini-Bow Wristlet ($28, White House Black Market)
Steve Madden Caryssa Platform Pumps ($125, Endless.com)
With all its unmissable glitz this dress had me instantly thinking of New Years Eve. It's perfect for dancing the night (or the year) away, and in case it's not sparkly enough you can add those amazing glitter-strewn Steve Madden pumps! Although if you're planning on dancing in those it might be a good idea to pack some of those new little portable flats by Dr. Scholls into your bag. That flirty bow wristlet by White House Black Market is just the thing.

The dress: Stretchy Border Print Dress ($99.95 - $109.95, Coldwater Creek)
Wear it with:
Mesh Loop Tassel (£12.50, Topshop)
Romantic Soles Emily in Black Kid Pu ($55, Zappos.com)
I don't think Coldwater Creek gets enough attention. They have some truly wonderful things! Like this darling stretch dress. The gentle wrapped effect at the bust gives you a deep neckline to work in a statement necklace while still affording you modesty, and as with the dress from the first set the tummy panel gives an enhanced and lovely shape. I picked out this lovely tassel necklace from Topshop for the great circle design and the length. Some black or maybe dark gray pumps finish it off - and stockings again, of course. This is the perfect example of a dress that is much more complete with stockings.
And those are a few of my picks. What do you think? If you have any suggestions on ways to style these or any other dresses you've come across lately we'd love to hear about it!
