Last week I shared Anne Hathaway's cover shoot from the November issue of US Vogue and this week I'd like to share another editorial from the issue. My copy arrived while I was out of town this week and upon my first flip-through Sasha Pivovarova's shoot by Patrick Demarchelier, the aptly titled Naturally Refined, instantly caught my eye.
Firstly, the hair! How striking is that sharp bob? I especially love it in the last shot from this editorial, down at the bottom of this post. It's such a statement style, like they brought the bob beyond the twenty-first century. It plays well with the minimalist styling in this editorial.
The materials and textures really seem to vary throughout the photos which adds an exciting element, as you can see in these two shots. I love the contrast of the gorgeous oversized sweater with the lace, and then into the next picture with the sleek and structured dress. There's so much to entertain!
I love the color palette, as well. Everything from the rich brown in the second picture right to this luscious red, everything looks vibrant and exciting while also maintaining that slight rustic feeling of autumn.
What do you think of Sasha's shoot? Do you have any particular favorites from this month's issue? I was also loving Patrick's other shoot with Frida Gustavsson and Eddie Redmayne!
