Lipstain Jungle

Lip stains seem to be all the rage lately so when I recently had the chance to pick up something from the Ulta cosmetics line for free I thought it was the perfect opportunity to try the Ulta Extreme Wear Lip Stain in Love Connection.

This particular lip stain has a sponge applicator similar to Urban Decay Lip Envy and Sephora Collection Lush Flush. I've never used either of those - in fact, I've never used any lip stains before. Ulta's Extreme Wear was much different than I had been expecting, but I've been complimented on it and people have said that it looks very natural. It goes on as a very thin, milky liquid at first but the key seems to be letting it dry and then applying a second coat. It gives a little better coverage that way.
