Lotus Manicure

When I was first informed of the name of the next color we'd be featuring in my store, White House | Black Market, I had a very puzzled look. "Lotus? Isn't that a flower?". It is a flower but apparently it's also a color. We're having a hard time introducing the new color to our clients simply because of the name and I always end up calling it "teal". Some even mistake hearing it as "locusts" and we definitely don't want that! Anyhow, as I was browsing my growing nail polish collection I noticed a shimmery teal color I don't think I had ever used and believe it or not it's called Iceberg Lotus! I felt I just had to use it and I ended up doing somewhat of a gradient effect (demonstrated here) over Bold Sangria, a gorgeous dark purple. I think it turned out pretty nice.
