Our Vegas Trip

On Sunday morning my husband Jason and I left for Las Vegas! We celebrated our friend's five year wedding anniversary on Sunday night and spent Monday and Tuesday together eating, shopping and enjoying the amazing sights. Here are many photos from our little trip!

Our room at the Monte Carlo hotel. Lovely place with great service!

The M&M's World Store. Four stories of everything M&M's you could imagine!

So many colors and unique flavors to choose from!

The Cafe at Monte Carlo (Canadian Burger and Three Cheese Pizza)

Lots of recycled pieces here but also wearing the new belt from NY&Company.

I didn't go inside but had to snap this photo for Casee :)

Celebration with friends at the Cosmopolitan

Outside of the Mirage and decked in American Eagle!

Caesar's Palace

This H&M was like a playground!

Fire Show outside of the Mirage

Midnight dinner at Denny's

An amazing buffet at the M hotel about 8 miles outside of the strip.

As you can see, we had a great time! There were many shops I was able to visit for the first time including Top Shop, Zara and Marc by Marc Jacobs. Needless to say, I was thrilled! The Fashion Show Mall is over two million square feet and includes both regular and higher ends stores. It's definitely one of the largest malls I've ever been to! You could easily spend all day there and even then you wouldn't have time for everything. We also visited The Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace which was excellent. The architecture was beautiful and the spiral escalators althought a bit frightening made an impressive decoration.

Of course, we were also excited about the food. We had dinner once at The Cafe at Monte Carlo which was declious. We shared a Canadian BBQ and smoked bacon burger and a three cheese pizza with spinach. Yum! Another favorite was the Studio B Buffet at the M Hotel which is about 8 miles outside the Vegas strip. It's a fairly new hotel, about three years old I think. This was our last large meal before heading home and my was it delicious! It's pricey but it is voted the best buffet in Vegas so we had to try it! I could not believe how many options there were!

It was so nice to get away from our everyday routine and spend some quality time together! Although it was terribly hot (I suffered from exhaustion on Monday) it was a great trip but I don't know if I'd go during the middle of Summer again.

If you have any questions about our trip, the hotel we stayed in, the places we visited or ate at, please ask! Are you going on any trips this Summer?
