Happy Birthday, Casee Marie!

Casee is a very dear friend of mine and I am so blessed to know her and work with her on this blog. She is beautiful, talented, genuine, and has the kindest heart. I am constantly inspired by her creativity and her wonderful gift of writing. Her blog, The Girl Who Stole the Eiffel Tower, is a magical place as I'm sure many of you are aware. With passion she shares with the world wide web her different takes on fashion, beauty, art, literature and culture while remaining as humble as can be. Over the last year she has grown tremendously as a person and a blogger. Through her endeavors she has been rewarded with a fantastic group of readers, she's been featured on various blogs and communities and has recently been honored to do book reviews for a handful of authors. Casee is not only passionate but professional and I know she will continue to be very successful in her blogging career.

Thank you so much Casee for your friendship, your honesty, your encouragement (I could go on and on!) and for just being you! I love the random conversations we have and how excited we get over things that many wouldn’t understand. I hope you have the most wonderful day! Love you lots!

And now, some birthday wishes from many of your friends online!

From Sweet of Confessions of a Drama Queen:

To my dearest Casee,

We may have not met personally but that does not hinder the friendship that was built because of blogging and the social networking world. I am happy that I got know someone as amazing as you are, thank you for your friendship and your beautiful character brings a big smile on my face. I am happy and honored that I got to exchange comments, tweets, emails and ideas with you.

You are just absolutely amazing, one of the many people I always look up to. Happy Birthday, Doll. I love you and you deserve to celebrate this special day with all the people who love you all around the world.

From Bangkok with Love,
Sweet :)

From Karen of Simple Cup of Tea:

The girl was woken up by a ray of sunshine winning the gentle but persistent battle with the window shutters. A second or two passed as she stretched herself out, eyes on the ceiling. Thursday. Perfect.

As she walked to the large french doors she could feel the warmth of the hardwood floor, warmth still there from the day before. A gentle push and her bare feet met the slightly colder metal of the balcony and a rush of fresh air welcomed her outside. Paris smells so sweet in spring.

A bicycle bell rung and she looked down the two floors to the pavement below. Two friends waved up happily. She could hear them calling out to her and after taking a glance at the wonderful view at the horizon she ran back inside to open up for their well wishes and presents. The stealing of the tower would have to wait for another day. After all, what is cake and good company without that wonderful view?

Happy birthday sweetheart! Thank you for including me into your life, for being such a true friend. Casee, I am so grateful to know you. Not only are you a talented writer and a blogging wiz, you have the most beautiful soul and warm heart. Watching you blossom, realizing and owning your strength and beauty is such a moving thing. The sky is the limit for you, no, there is no limit to how far you can go. Reading your blog I feel you all the way in Oslo, as though you were sitting next to me, sharing a lovely conversation, learning more about each other, daydreaming of walking the streets of Bath, sharing our love of Jane Austen. Casee, I love you. May this year bring you lots of joy and fulfillment. I am so exited to voyage with you, lovely. Mwuah!

I first "met" Casee Marie on twitter through the FTF community and really her writing sparkles with a real goodness I don't see in very many blogs. Casee is one of the most generous and open bloggers I have had the pleasure to meet and I feel very lucky to know her. The first word that comes to mind when I hear Casee Marie is lovely and that goes for The Girl Who Stole the Eiffel Tower as well. I think her blog oozes with so much warmth because of the kindness in this gal's heart. Thank you Casee for being so welcoming and wonderful and have the best birthday ever! ever! ever!

I actually also think of Audrey Hepburn when I think of Casee Marie...not just because in the short time I've known Casee she's written about Hepburn twice, but because there is something really elegant and graceful about Casee Marie's style and attitude. - I have no idea how to work that into the above, but I thought I'd mention it because it's a true story :).

Dear Casee,

I wish we lived by each other. You, Jen and me. And Britta too of course. We could all hang out and go shopping. I know we'd love to go to Barnes and Noble and just stare at the books enjoying the smell of the fresh paper. Hahah. Even though we only talk online I consider you and Jen and Britta my friends and my sisters. I hope you have an amazing year my friend! Xo

Casee Marie –

I am so glad I found your blog (or I think you found mine first, so I thank you for that!). Your carefully chosen words always leave me thoughtful, whether it is a post about fashion, classic movies, or life purpose (this combination inspired the picture I included with this little message). I can’t wait to see where this next year takes you!

XO, Di

The Girl Who Stole the Eiffel Tower should be renamed to the Girl Who Stole My Heart. Casee Marie, you are so warm and supportive- it is no wonder you have the strong fan-base that you do, and friend base that you do. Wishing you a very Happy Birthday! Here's to candles on the cake as bright as your eyes! xo.

Happy birthday, Casee Marie! Here's to a beautiful blogger and an even more beautiful person. There are a few bloggers who truly make all the hard work worthwhile for the rest of us, and you are one of them. You are one of the most genuine, warm and inspirational bloggers I know, and I can't imagine this little community we have being quite the same if it weren't for you. Thank you for just being you and for your incredible support. And I can't forget to thank you for introducing me to Hope & Social, who I've been listening to on repeat for the past month. :) I hope your birthday is everything you deserve!

xoxo,
Marissa

What can I say about Casee? That she is stunning, kind, and loving? I feel like that's too general. I love having Casee for a friend. She automatically loves the things I love and whenever I get a word of praise from her, it instantly makes my day better. She may be older than me, but she has accepted me for the teenager that I am. Not many people are willing to do that. Casee has the most wonderful spirit and has a beautiful essence about her. Reading the words that she writes makes me want to take the world into my own two hands and make a difference. She deserves the best possible birthday ever and I hope she knows how much to everyone.

Miss Casee Marie,

I am so honored and excited to be wishing you a very happy birthday. It really does feel--and doesn't at the same time--like it was only yesterday we were blogging on livejournal. Now, you have become a serious fashionista and blossomed into this amazingly confident and forever-talented individual. You are always so thoughtful of everyone else around you and you always have a kind word for your fellow bloggers. Casee my dear--you are absolutely extraordinary and I am so lucky to call you a friend. Have a very happy birthday filled with cupcakes, balloons, and everything sweet (and spicy!) and nice.

From Kirsten of Crimson Rosella:

One of Casee's favorite stars is Audrey Hepburn. She adores her for her kindness, elegance and beautiful personality. When I think of Casee and her blog, I think of all of these qualities. To me she exhibits these qualities through her always thoughtful and kind comments, the appearance of her blog and her posts of great substance. Casee embodies elegance and beauty. Even though I don't know Casee in person, I know she would always lend a helping hand if I needed it. Casee is one of my earliest and greatest supporters for my blog and it is so wonderful to know she's always there!

Happy Birthday Casee!
