I love the way she's able to bring in elements to her outfits that are a bit unexpected - like the blue pumps at the Britannia Awards. She has the confidence to make them work, which I find very inspiring. At the same time, Carey seems to do a lot of vintage-inspired dresses, like the yellow-and-white dress she wore to the luncheon in March. She isn't afraid to try new things and break out of stereotypical styles.
