Earlier this week Prince William and his long time girlfriend Kate Middleton announced that they were engaged. This has all been very exciting over here in the UK, and everyone has been talking about it. Anyway, I thought I'd share what Kate wore when the engagement was announced.
I think that this dress was a perfect choice. It's conservative with the long hem and long sleeves, but the draping gives it an element of interest. And the color of the dress looks really fantastic with her skin and hair color!
William gave Kate his mother's ring and, as is to be expected with a royal engagement, it's massive! It's such a gorgeous piece of jewelry.
I think that you can appreciate the draping of Kate's dress much better in this picture. I just love how soft and flowing the material looks.
I don't know about you guys, but I'm so excited for this royal wedding! I can't wait to see Kate's wedding dress and all of the pretty dresses I'm sure she'll be wearing in the festivities leading up to the wedding. Is anybody else as excited about this wedding as I am?
