Friday Fame: Liv Tyler

"Life excites me. I'm not talking about appearing in movies or doing interviews, but just little, normal, everyday things. Getting out of bed. Getting dressed. Making food. I find it all exciting..."

For this week's Friday Fame I'd like to spotlight the ever-lovely actress Liv Tyler, who played Arwen Undómiel in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. There's such a gentility to her beauty, which connects her so well to the elvish character. There's something quite enchanting about her!

I admire her so much for the healthy, confident way she views her body and the way she focuses on what's truly important.  Here's one of my favorite quotes, from her interview with Glamour in March, 2007:

"I've always been a big girl - I'm 5'10", with a broad back and wide shoulders - and I have always felt pretty comfy in my skin, no matter how big or small my bum is at the time. But it's not how I measure my happiness. I just want to be myself - I can't try and be somebody else. Beauty is not defined by the size of your jeans."

Those are truly some words to live by!
