Oscars Fasion - My Top Three

I had major issues narrowing down my favorite looks of the night, so I'm going to spam you with three of them.

Rachel McAdams in Elie Saab

I thought that this was a gorgeous dress. I love it when stars break out prints on the red carpet. Most stars shy away from prints for big events, but Rachel chose a lovely print that looks like a Monet painting. The soft draping and floaty fabric just adds to the soft and light feeling of this dress. The only thing that could have improved this look would have been if Rachel had kept her darker hair. The blonde almost washes her out here.

Anna Kendrick in Elie Saab

This was such a lovely feminine look that embraced Anna's youthfulness without making her look juvenile. The dress was expertly draped, and I love the off the shoulder look. I also really love the lace edging at the bottom. The pale pink color makes the look feel even more sweet and romantic. I'm not sure how I feel about her hair. I think it would have looked better either down around her shoulder in soft waves or perhaps pulled back in a slightly less messy up-do.

Elizabeth Banks in Versace

I adore this color on Elizabeth. The cool blue-gray tone goes great with her blond hair. I love the intricate weaving of the bodice that transitions into the ruffly skirt. It fits her like a glove, too.
