Summer Reader Program @ Romporama Indoor Adventureland

– 10 Books in 10 Weeks

As part of our Spark of Wisdom (SOW) Reading and Writing program, you can help spark the

love of reading in your children and participate in the Romp-o- Rama’s Summer Reading

Program. Simply have your children read 10 books in 10 weeks – it’s happening now! Just help

your child select ten books to read this summer, track their progress by signing off once they’ve

completed the book, and bring the tracking sheet into the facility for the official approval. So far

we have [Enter # of kids participating thus far] kids participating in this awesome event. So get

your children involved as they will earn the following upon program completion:

 Completion Certificate

 $5 Romp Bucks to be used towards merchandise or services

 A Romp-o- Rama Water Bottle valued at $7.99

Reading is the heart of all formal education and there are several benefits of reading for kids.

Benefits include to enrich the parent / child relationship, increase intellectual progress, be

successful in school, and improve linguistic skills in the form of a richer vocabulary, correct

grammar, improved writing, better spelling and more articulate oral communication.

You might be wondering where children can get new books to read for the summer if there is

no access to a library or other means. Well, here at African Youth Development and Health

(AYD&H) Foundation, we’re promoting a Book Swap via our SOW project by donating new and

gently used books. Just bring in your gently used books and trade them in for another.
